On my first blog, I want to share to you my experience about marine field trip onDutungan Island and Paputo Beach.
On Friday -
Saturday, October 4th – 5th 2019, all students of Tour & Travel Business
Study Program 3rd semester class B go to Dutungan Island in Barru Regency and
Paputo Beach in Pare-Pare City. We go for 2D1N in Marine Field Trip Program. 1st
day, on Friday, October 4th 2019, we go to Dutungan Island. In this Marine
Field Trip, we were accompanied by our beloved advisor, Ma’am Atriana and Ma’am
Margaretha. The first activity carried out was gathering on Orange Building at
Makassar Tourism Polytechnic for attend and distribution of id card and luggage
tags by tour leader.
After that, we got on the bus and start
the guiding. The first destination we visited is Dutungan Island. On the way to
Dutungan Island, Participants one by one took the guiding to give some
information to the other participants on the bus. On the way, on the sidelines
of guiding, some participants also singing, or invited other participants for
playing games. After arriving at Tanjung Indah Dock, we were given a briefing
by advisor before crossing to Dutungan Island.
We crossed to Dutungan Island by boat. After
arrive at Dutungan Island, we change clothes to get ready to be given
instructions about diving and snorkeling as well as the equipment used by dive
instructor. After that, we lunch and pray. After that, we started to diving and
snorkeling. This is my experience for snorkeling. At first, I panicked and was
afraid drowning, but after an instructor accompanied me, I ventured to jump
into the sea for snorkeling. When diving and snorkeling, we can see the
underwater beauty. There are many coral reefs and others marine life. We can
also see small fish swimming. Very Beautiful!
After being satisfied seeing the beauty
of the sea, we continued our obsevation activities on Dutungan Island. After
that, we played a few games and took pictures. After that, we crossed back to
Tanjung Indah Dock and continued the trip to the hotel.
After arrive at Delima
Sari Hotel, we preparing for dinner at Ayam Penyet Ria in Pare-Pare City. After
dinner, we returned to hotel for prepare presentation about K3 implementations
and how to handle groups of marine tour. After presentation, each group showed
very hilarious entertainment, after that, we rest so we could return to our
activities the next day.
2nd day, on Saturday, October 5th 2019, first activity we do is morning exercise.
We warmed up the body together then jogged and visited the statue of True Love
Habibie and Ainun in Pare-Pare City. After arriving at the True Love statue of Habibie
and Ainun, we took some photos then returned to the hotel. After arriving at the hotel,
we had breakfast. And then after breakfast, we prepare to check out and continued
the trip to Paputo Beach.
After arriving at Paputo Beach, we continued our observation about Paputo Beach.On Paputo Beach there aremany adequate facilities, such as restaurants, informationplaces, gazebos, places to sit, photo spots with sea views, and many more. We can sit while enjoying the beautiful sea view with eating snacks. After observation, enjoying the beauty of the sea, and taking pictures together, we went to Teras Empang Restaurant, about 15 minutes from Paputo Beach. At Teras Empang Resto, we have lunch and pray. After lunch, we took a photo together with a view of Tonrangeng River. After lunch at Teras Empang Resto and took photo together, we returned to Makassar Tourism Polytechnic.
This trip is very fun because we can try new things like diving and snorkeling and see the beauty of undersea.This was my experience with Marine Field Trip on Dutungan Island and Paputo Beach. See you on the next blog. Byeeeeee..............
